Félix Díaz de Escauriaza (Madrid, 1983) has always had a passion for storytelling, which he cultivated from an early age through drawing on any available surface - a paper napkin, a piece of board, or the margin of a textbook. This innate need for self-expression led him to pursue a degree in journalism and work in PR and communications for various international companies, while, at the same time, he began developing his artistic style and taking on occasional illustration commissions.
In 2015, Félix established himself as a freelance illustrator and set up his studio in Madrid. Since then, he has worked on projects for clients such as Adobe, Penguin Random House, L’Oréal, Nike, and the government of Madrid. His work has also been featured in renowned Spanish publications, including Condé Nast Traveler, Vogue, GQ or TimeOut.
Félix's illustration style harnesses the advantages of digital technologies, allowing him to customize brushes and color palettes to create vibrant worlds filled with unique characters, each with their own story. With meticulous attention to detail, his illustrations aim to awaken the viewer's curiosity and invite them to delve into the narrative.
